Friendly service and a great pub atmosphere. We enjoyed the Smothered Platter, a very complete dish with plenty of meat. Good value for classic pub fare.

Nice place, on Sunday they serve roast mix (turkey, beef, pork) vegetables 10. Very pleasant interior, and enough places to sit outside. But better to book in advance inside (there are many people on Sunday). It is good place to talk to your friends, to eat tasty food. Do you dance? Do you have alive music? Thank you

New to the area Family of 5 had breakfast this morning here. Clean, good food, quiet and very friendly atmosphere created by the attentive staff. The building interior is a lovely barn feel, wood beams, picture fire Place etc. Nice selection of food hot and cold and for a price that if you bought it and cooked it yourself would cost more. Great value and great service. Thank you

I'd heard mixed reviews, but wanted to find out for myself what the food was like, especially as it now has new management. Our waitress was very funny and drinks arrived promptly. I have a severe allergy, and the manager came over to make sure I'd read the disclaimer and that my food was suitable. All of the food was piping hot, and my steak and gammon was cooked perfectly. I'm looking forward to trying the Sunday roast, with a view to Christmas Dinner. The new team have really made a difference and the Cookhouse feels more family friendly. *UPDATE* Tried out the buffet roast dinner. Thought it was really nice. Soft meats, nice roasties, creamy mash, stuffing balls, no shortage of gravy, great value for money!

My partner and I just had a lovely evening meal at The Potters Arms. We found the atmosphere really relaxed and our server Kayleigh was lovely, very attentive and accommodating. Service was swift and the food very nice, really hit the spot.

Went here as was staying in the Premier Inn next door. It was certainly a lot better than the usual Premier Inn restaurants that are normally dead. It is open to all and had quite a lively atmosphere at the bar end. The food was tasty, reasonable portions, average prices for these days. The service was good, unusual for full table service these days.
